The Pope Francisco visited Fidel Castro

The Pope Francisco visited Fidel Castro

Pope Francisco, Supreme Pontiff of the Catholic Church and Head of State of Vatican City, made a courtesy visit to the historic leader of the Cuban Revolution, Fidel Castro.

His Holiness, who initiated an apostolic and historic visit to Cuba that lasted  until September 22, had an extensive exchange with Fidel and agreed on major issues of concern related to the cause of the poor, the preservation of peace and human survival.

Fidel had words of praise for Pope Francis for his communication skills, his repeated public messages of solidarity for the different social strata and commitment for the good of humanity. Pope Francis expressed gratitude to Cuba for its contribution to peace and the preservation of the human species in a world saturated with hatred and aggression. Pope Francis, true to his conscience and beliefs, struggles with his word and example, a more just and generous humanity in which no nation is without employment, food, medicine and education.

Fidel could be seen in all its value the qualities of the illustrious visitor. The revolutionary leader gave the pontiff a copy of the first edition in 1985, the book Fidel and Religion, authored by the Dominican friar, journalist and Brazilian writer Frei Betto.

I received some important news

I received some important news

In the past week, I was told that I should go to a meeting at work with Human Resources. I felt worried, because I have only one month in this job and some people attending the hospital not understand the process of care. I always wanted to work in this hospital for the prestige it has. When I went to the meeting, the person who checked me was very happy and first thing did was to congratulate me on my work and tell me that my performance me a raise, it was big news!
